Meet Father Christmas at The Ark on Christmas Eve!
Ho, Ho, Ho! Come and join us this Christmas Eve as we host a day full of sparkle and festive cheer.
The Ark is set to transform its real ice rink into a magical winter wonderland this Christmas Eve and is expecting a special visitor from the North Pole.
Dorset’s multi-award winning family leisure attraction will be filled with sparkle and festive cheer from late November and this Christmas Eve the ice rink will see youngsters visit an ice wonderland, full of sparkling lights, festive music and falling snow. Our costume characters Tux, Olaf and Elsa, will all be there to welcome and skate with visitors on the indoor real ice rink followed by an individual visit to Father Christmas.
Each young guest will receive a gift to take home.

Time: (on the hour) 10am, 11am, 12 midday, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm
- Join in the fun and experience the thrill of skating on real ice…in the warm* and dry! As long as you are 2 years old or more you can skate but all 2-7 year olds must be accompanied by an adult on skates.
Each young guest will have an individual visit with Father Christmas and receive a gift to take home.
- Tickets £10 per child to include grotto, gift, ice skating and skate hire and £5.95 per accompanying (skating) adult.

Please be aware for health and safety reasons an adult on skates must accompany all children up to and including 7 years of age on the ice.
Only one adult skater is permitted per child ticket on Christmas Eve.
Up to 14 fun skate penguins/Bobby seals are available for hire on a first come basis from the skate hire counter for £3.00 each. (Please note these are not meant as a skate aid but simply for fun).
* The Ark is heated. Please note the ice rink has to be kept at a suitable temperature for the ice, appropriate clothing should be worn.
