Poole Festival of Running, 1st June 2014, Poole Park

Ready Steady Go! Join in the fun with races, children’s activities and family entertainment at Poole’s annual Festival of Running. From first-time runners to Olympic champions and spectators, everyone is welcome for a great day out!

Junior runners can participate in the under 8’s Fun Run which kicks off at 11.05am – visit us at The Ark after the race to receive a 15% discount in the ice rink or soft play. Simply show proof of participation to staff.

Please note: Poole Park will be closed to vehicular traffic all day.   Alternative parking available at the Civic Centre. 

 

Children’s (under 8s Fun Run takes place at 11.05am.

Races for children aged 8-14 take place between 10-11am.

5km and 10km races for adults and over 15s at 11.30am and 2pm respectively.

There are medals, prizes and trophies to be won in all races. But hurry! Places fill up fast and entry is limited.

Race for Life, 22nd June 2014, Poole Park

The Ark will be open for refreshments and play from 10am to 6pm – bring along proof of race entry to enjoy 15% discount in the ice rink or soft play.

Harbourview 110ft Abseil in aid of Diverse Abilities Plus, 8th June 2014

Good luck to Tux, our resident penguin, who plans to take part in a 110ft abseil overlooking Poole Harbour on Sunday 8th June. We’re busy fundraising here at The Ark for the event hosted by Diverse Abilities Plus, Dorset’s disability charity which supports children and adults with physical and learning disabilities. Dorset Coast and Harbour Bike Race, 8th June 2014

This charity bike ride, now in its fourth year, will be starting and finishing in Poole Park. Join cyclists of all ages and abilities in the event which has three different routes, all along Dorset’s world-famous Jurassic Coast.

Dragon Boat Race, 20th July, Poole Park
